“Do Hispanics with newly type II diabetics that are educated in a group setting have lower HGA1C’s over a three-month period than those who are educated in a traditional one-on-one setting? P- (population) – Hispanics newly diagnosed for type 2 diabetes I – (Intervention) – Implement dietary and lifestyle changes C – (Comparison) – type 2 diabetics who were educated in a group setting vs. one on one education O – (Outcome) – Reduction of A1C levels T – (Time frame) – 3 months after initial diagnosis In explaining my quantitative research approach and how it has the potential to answer the research question, the goal for any research is to be able to find out true facts about the sample that will also be true of the population.
