Summary: What was the plot of the movie and how did music play a role?
Reaction: How does the movie plot treat the idea of gender? Does the music reinforce this idea? If so, how?
Things to think about- gender of actors and traditional movie roles (in your opinion), the time the movie was either set in or filmed in, social conventions of the time that we’ve discussed/read about in class.
Finding the idea of gender and music in some movies might be obvious, while others could be a lot more obscure.
