Description For this project, you will need to create something that symbolizes, for you, the events covered in the book The Gifts of the Jews. It does not have to be religiously oriented, but it does need to discuss the importance of their faith to the Hebrew/Israelite people. Beginning with the ancient Sumarians, create a chronological masterpiece, (notice the word “create”!!! – that means you must make it!) whether it’s a dance that you choreograph, a picture or sculpture that you create, a collage set to music, a musical performance (by you!) of your own or someone else’s creation… Think outside the box! Have fun with this, but remember to keep it historical, not theological, as this is a history class, and make sure to include the chronological evolution of both the Hebrews and the perception of history in the West.
